carlmfischer.com ubuntu thinkpad t60 configuration

I have a Thinkpad T60 (1953-D6U) and wanted to get Ubuntu (7.10 Gutsy Gibbon) working, but the main hold-up was the wireless configuration. My main server runs FreeRadius and uses certificates to authenticate each wireless client, which is currently a Thinkpad T40, a Palm T|X and a Macbook. After googling around for a bit, I finally have the configs files working so that the T60 authenticates correctly. My main issue was with the wpa_supplicant.conf, which I could not find an example that met my configuration. So, here is my wpa_supplicant.conf and /etc/network/interfaces that works with my freeradius setup. All the other tweaks were found on thinkwiki.org mainly the stand-by tweaks. I still don't have the resume from stand-by working exactly as I want it, I have to sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart in order for the wireless to start back up, but that is not a big deal to me.
